General information
Although "De Dagtoertaxi" is not a 24 hours available "VIP-taxi" with a driver in a uniform, it is the perfect choice for business travellers who don't want to spend too much money on long distance transportation on reservation. "De Dagtoertaxi" offers them a good car with an experienced driver, who speaks English, German and French and who knows to find his way. The taxi is a comfortable, safe and spacious Ford Galaxy with 4 flexible passenger seats, a lot of luggage space, airco, GPS.
"De Dagtoertaxi" operates from Amsterdam, but is -on certain conditions- available for passengers all over the Netherlands (or from abroad to the Netherlands).
As a one man taxi company De Dagtoertaxi is unfortunately not always available.

Dayrent
Dayrent is "De Dagtoertaxi"s specialty. Passengers can rent the car and the driver for a whole day and pay a day rate (for 1-4 passengers), based on an agreed maximum of hours and kilometres. Dayrent is the perfect solution for business travellers who want to visit one or more addresses and return on the same day. During a visit the taxi stays nearby. A Dutch cell phone is available to keep in touch with the driver during the day.

"De Dagtoertaxi" can also be used as a one way budget taxi for long distance taxi services in/from/to the Netherlands (including airport transfers).

Price appointments
For all long distance services "De Dagtoertaxi" makes price appointments in advance (for 1-4 passengers), based on the total time and distance that is needed for the requested service (including driving up and down from Amsterdam). Nevertheless, price comparison can also be wortwhile for long taxi rides from other regions than the Amsterdam region.

One-man budget taxi company for
day tours and taxi services >50 kms
An employee of an American com-pany (who makes a tour through Europe to show the latest techno-logy of their product) wants to visit 3 Dutch customers in one day. She travels from Amsterdam to Uit-hoorn, Arnhem, Tilburg and back to Amsterdam (312 kms in 9 hours) and pays € 175.
An expat in Rotterdam has to travel to Malaysia, but he wants to fly from Frankfurt, where he'll first deliver some boxes with samples and meet a colleague. "De Dag-toertaxi" drives him from Rotter-dam to Frankfurt and from the city to the airport (440 kms/€ 375).
