This specialty of De Dagtoertaxi can be used for all sorts of one day round trips, that begin and end at the same address.
Using this "specialty" of the Dagtoertaxi, you will experience the luxury of a "private chauffeur", who brings you and picks you up wherever and whenever you like. The day hire can consist of one or more components, such as a touristic round-trip (see examples of some popular tours below), a visit to family, friends, a restaurant, a museum, places from which you once treasured memories, one or more business meetings, etc. The driver can - using his experience, documentation and the web - advise you on how to combine all desired components in the most efficient way. During breaks, the driver can wait for you, but he can also guide and/or accompany you, eg by showing you around, giving you an arm, pushing your wheelchair, getting tickets or refreshments for you, etc. If the driver waits for you in his taxi (or somewhere nearby) he can give you an easy to handle mobile phone that you can use to let him know that you want to be picked up again.
Rates If you choose for open day hire, you will pay a day rate that is based upon the total duration of your day and the expected total day distance. The minimum day price is € 150. The day rate includes all kilometers, driving and waiting time, preparation of a day programme, guidance and all other services provided by the driver. Not included are external costs for tolls, ferries, entrance fees, refreshments, etc. When the driver guides you, you will pay these costs for him as well (plus eventual parking fees).
Price table open day hire In the table below you will find rates for many combinations of day limits for hours and kilometers (100 kms = 62 miles). The estimated numbers of hours and kilometers (between picking up and bringing back) must be rounded up to the standards of the table. The minimum day rate is € 150. If this price is shown in red, better combinations can be made for the same price. If -during the day- the driver expects that the agreed limits will be exceeded, he will let you know this in time. Delays due to force majeure are not charged.
The rates are valid from locations in the wide region of Amsterdam (as described on the page "practical") and can be higher from other regions. They are given in Euros for 1-4 passengers (VAT included). Any external costs as described above are not included in the prices.
