Introduction

De Dagtoertaxi is a one man taxi company in Amsterdam, specializing in long distance taxi services (>50 kms) and taxi day hire for 1-4 passengers.
The rates are reasonable and include some extra service possibilities.

The taxi

De Dagtoertaxi can be used by passengers, travelling from an address in the Amsterdam region to an address outside that region, or the other way around. Although Rotterdam is not in the Amsterdam region, an exception is made for cruise passengers who arrive in Rotterdam (see "practical").

The taxi is available on reservation between 8am and 12pm on 5 days of the week, sometimes including weekend days (see agenda). Only on unoccupied days the taxi is also available as a last minute taxi >50 kms (reduction 15%).

De Dagtoertaxi offers some free extra service possibilities, such as the planning of a tailor made private day tour in accordance with the wishes of the client, guidance and/or personal assistance during stops (if desired), the use of a foldable wheel chair, child seat or mobile phone (for contact with the driver), the possibility of bringing well behaved pets along on a trip, and a gift certificate for a "car with chauffeur" for a period of 9 hours.

All its extras make De Dagtoertaxi very suitable for seniors and passengers who want something more than "just a taxi". But of course healthy juniors and cost-conscious business travellers are welcome on board too!

The taxi is a spacious and comfortable Ford Galaxy with an easy access, air conditioning, navigation and plenty of room for 4 passengers, baggage, folded wheelchairs etc. Seated wheelchair transportation is not possible.

Besides all its advantages De Dagtoertaxi has one disadvantage: There's only one of it!
Therefore you are advised to book in time if you want to use its services.
